MUMBAI : Prabhas was a big name down South, but thanks to the Baahubali franchise he became a pan-India star. After Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, the actor was seen in the 2019 release Saaho which mostly received negative reviews, and failed to impress the audience. While Saaho released as per the schedule, there have been multiple changes in the release dates of his movies that followed.
Prabhas was last seen on the big screen in Radhe Shyam which was released earlier this year. The film was a disaster at the box office and panned by the critics. Radhe Shyam was earlier slated to release in July 2021 but was postponed due to the pandemic. Later, it was supposed to hit the big screens in January 2022, but once again was pushed and finally released on 11th March 2022.
Now, let’s talk about the actor’s upcoming movie Adipurush. The Om Raut directorial was slated to release on 11th August 2022, but was postponed to 12th January 2023. Now, reportedly, the makers are reworking on the VFX and the movie has been pushed to 16th June 2023. So, just like Radhe Shyam, Adipurush has also been postponed twice, so let’s hope that it finally releases on the third finalized release date.
Salaar, which is being directed by Prashanth Neel, has also been postponed once. The movie was earlier slated to release in April this year, but was postponed due to the pandemic, and then on the same day, Neel’s KGF: Chapter 2 was released. Now, Salaar is slated to release on 28th September 2023.

Well, we are sure fans of Prabhas would also be thinking about the curious case of their favorite actor and his postponed films. Meanwhile, apart from Adipurush and Salaar, Prabhas has Project K lined up which also stars Deepika Padukone and Amitabh Bachchan in the lead roles. The release date of Project K is not yet officially announced.
