MUMBAI: Payal Ghosh recently made headlines when she accused Anurag Kashyap of sexual misconduct. While the filmmaker denied the allegations and called ‘baseless,’ the actress filed an official complaint against him by lodging an FIR against the Gangs of Wasseypur director, at Versova’s police station for the same.
Now, Ghosh has shared the screenshots of some of her earlier tweets from 2018, wherein she talks about the #MeToo movement, social media, filmmakers, and many other issues related to the same.
In her first tweet, she inquires Twitter’s official handle regarding a possibility to revive her older tweets from 12th October, 2018.
Thenafter, Payal shares WhatsApp screenshots of some of her tweets back from that time.
In one of her tweets, the actress talks about leaving the social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter until the #MeToo thing gets over. Citing the reason behind the same, Ghosh says that it made her recall all the past incidents witnessed by her.

The actress is also seen talking about taking an action but mentions that her family is scared and they don’t want her to get involved in such controversies.
In the next screenshot, Ghosh is seen talking about her coming to Mumbai for the first time and starting off with her career.
She added that few directors had offered her certain works, which she had eventually accepted. However, she mentions of not being comfortable while doing them.
Ghosh says that she couldn’t personally relate to the #MeToo movement initially.
Then she mentions about a famous director who wanted to meet her. The actress adds on to having understood the criteria of being physically friendly with him if she agrees to work with the same. He reportedly told her to have slept with 600 other girls.
She then states that this particular director was also seen supporting the #MeToo movement with Tanushree Dutta.

Payal writes, “Few more posts and conversations during #MeToo movement..!!! With dates screenshots taken from WhatsApp today so obviously, the network will be of the present time and not of 2018 but I know some people are born brainless what to say to idiots..!!”
Previously, the actress had shared few more screenshots, stating that the #MeToo movement made her furious.
