We must have almost forgotten Rahul Roy who debuted in Mahesh Bhatt’s spectacular hit Aashiqui in 1990 and done around twenty films with Ada... A Way of Life being his last in 2010. Later he gained prominence winning the first season of Bigg Boss (Colors).
Now, the actor is making a comeback with Harikrit Films’ psychological thriller To Be or Not to Be said to have been inspired by William Shakespeare's play Hamlet. Akansha Shivhare will play the female lead.
The film, directed by Virendra Lalit, revolves around Nikhil (Rahul) and Priya (Akansha) whose marriage is on the rocks. To give a last chance to their relationship, the couple takes a break from their normal life to go on a short trip to their farm house. Thereafter the story unfolds elements of fear, suspicion, regret and compassion.
Ironically, this will be the third film that bears the title To Be or Not to Be. The first, made in 1942, was about a troupe of actors, in Nazi-occupied Warsaw, who use their abilities at disguise and acting to fool the occupying troops. The second film, made in 1983, was a remake of the 1942 made film.
