MUMBAi; It is raining biopics quite heavily on Bollywood! The filmmakers are keen on picking up the interesting, inspiring figures and chronicling their lives on the silver screen.
So, the latest scoop on biopics is that filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani is collaborating with Fox Star Studios for a biopic on a 'legendary cricketer.' Speculations are that it will be on Lala Amarnath.
We have seen a few stories of the cricketers in the recent past and they all were well received by the fans. Also, there is another cricket-based film helmed by him apart from a web-series. A lot's on the plate for the director but no Munnabhai 3 is seen in the vicinity.
Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, "#Xclusiv: What is #RajkumarHirani making next? Has been approached for two films on #cricket: Biopic of a legendary cricketer for a top Studio...
