
MUMBAI: The well renowned director known for redefining Indian cinema, Ram Gopal Verma recently featured in Komal Nahta’s Game changers podcast. In the podcast, the filmmaker shed light on his journey from an engineer to a director, his transition from Telugu cinema to Bollywood and many more aspects of his career.
In the rapid fire round Ram Gopal Verma was asked, If Sandeep Reddy Vanga were to direct one of Ram Gopal Verma’s films, which one would it be?
The filmmaker swiftly replied by quoting his classic, “Satya.” The 1998 film changed the landscape of Indian cinema and inspired a generation of filmmakers. One of the filmmakers who was inspired is Sandeep Reddy Vanga. Vanga has been very vocal of the impact Satya has had on him while growing up and even has said that it is one of his favourite films.
