MUMBAI: Ramayana has created a massive buzz with minimal updates and that says a lot about how much the audience has been waiting for the movie till now, even though we know it's going to take some more time and we'll have to keep a lot of patience before its release. What keeps us satisfied are the updates that seldom make way to us through various reports.

Earlier, there were reports about Ravi Dubey being confirmed as Lakshman. The actor talked positively about the project's reverence and highlighted Ranbir's humility and dedication on set. There are many more actors like Yash, Lara Dutta and Rakul Preet Singh to name a few. Later, there was also a confirmation about Sunny Deol as Lord Hanuman.

Now, as per reports, it is said that Mohit Raina will play the role of Lord Shiva. This is a pretty big move, the reason being that Mohit Raina has already become the best and most loved Lord Shiva in the world of TV. Seeing him once again as Lord Shiva, this time on the big screen, would be more than just lovely. The actor has established himself very well in the OTT space, and was last seen in KanKhajura, a SonyLIV series.
