The rumour about Alia and Ranbir’s marriage keeps coming in time and again despite everyone in their family denying it. Recently, when Alia and Ranbir headed off to New York to meet Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor, reports were doing rounds that the two might be walking down the aisle post Ranbir’s father’s return.
Now, as per a report in Mumbai Mirror, Ranbir might have taken the first step towards solidifying the relationship with Alia by meeting up with her father and filmmaker, Mahesh Bhatt to ask her hand in marriage. The report cited their steady relationship and dates as the reason and mentioned that Ranbir met up Mahesh Bhatt to formally ask him for Alia’s hand in marriage. The report also added that post Ranbir’s action, the marriage might take place in 2020.
