MUMBAI : Randeep Hooda is one of the most versatile actors we have in the country. From Highway to Sarbjit, Randeep performances have been nothing but outstanding, The actor is now all set to embark on his new role. The actor plays the role of Vinayak Damodar Savarkar in the movie Swatantra Veer Savarkar. The actor’s physical transformation is nothing but inspiring.
Previously his transformation in Sarbjit was hailed by many. The actor opened up about his co-star Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. He said, “he was great, very courteous, she does her job well. She’s all there, she’s very sincere about it. Although we didn’t have many interactions on set because a lot of my scenes were away from her, whenever we did, she was all that she’s made out to be.” He further added, “They tried their best to make her look real, but she’s so unreal.”
Randeep further added, “While making the movie, more than Aishwarya, I formed a great bond with Sarabjit’s sister. She has passed away now, and her desire was that I come and give fire to her funeral pyre, which I did. I wish I had more time with her, she was a great lady, and she really looked after Sarabjit’s kids. They’re all well settled, I’m in touch with them. That movie had a real-life impact.”

Randeep who wrapped up his film Swatantrya Veer Savarkar’s schedule, shared on Instagram, “It’s a wrap for #VeerSavarkar. I have been to death and back for this film but that is a topic for another day. For now, big heartfelt thanks to my team, cast and crew, to have rallied day and night behind me through thick and thin and made it happen.”
