MUMBAI: Veteran actor Anil Kapoor has starred in many beloved movies and has proven to be versatile in a variety of genres, including thrillers and comedies. The 2001 film has become a cult classic over time, stars Kapoor as a television host who unintentionally becomes the Chief Minister for the day. Anil Kapoor recently posted a photo of himself and Bobby Deol, his co-star in Animal, flaunting their toned physique on Instagram. A fan expressed the desire for a sequel, commenting, "Nayak 2 film bna do sir (Make Nayak 2). Both looking amazing."
In response to the fan's request, the Dil Dhadakne Do actor said, "Jaldi ban rahi hain (It's being made soon)." This Instagram conversation raised fans' expectations for 'Nayak 2' by hinting at the film's upcoming production.

S. Shankar's gripping Indian political drama Nayak, which debuted in 2001, is directed by him. Anil Kapoor, Rani Mukerji, Paresh Rawal, and Amrish Puri star in the film, which tells the tale of an ordinary man who gets the chance to be the Chief Minister for a day.
