Release of Sajid Nadiadwala's Heropanti postponed

Sajid Nadiadwala has postponed the release of Heropanti that marks the acting debut of Jackie Shroff’s son Tiger Shroff. The movie also stars Kriti Sanon. The film was earlier slated to open in February next year. It is said that since the producer’s other film Highway is also to release around the same time (February), the makers decided to push the release date of Heropanti. The film will now release on 16 May, 2014. Said Nadiadwala in a statement, “We have now decided to release Highway on 21 February, 2014 and consequently our other film Heropanti will now release on 16 May, 2014.” The film is a remake of film Hero in which Tiger’s father played the lead role. The movie is directed by Sabbir Khan who had earlier directed the Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor-starrer Kambakkht Ishq.
