MUMBAI: Tamil actor, producer, cinematographer dies due to Covid-19 sufferings at a private hospital in Chennai. The actor was spotted in Thorati which was an Indian drama film directed by Marimuthu and also was his debut film in 2019. He played the lead role in the same. Shaman (43), took his last breath in Chennai at the private hospital, on June 17, Thursday. According to the sources his was detected to have Covid-19 and was undergoing treatment for the same. He was in the Covid-19 ward for almost a month.
Sharman was well settled with his wife ( Shakuntala) and his five-year-old son. Shaman was a part of the Tamil film industry and was tested Covid positive. He was subjected to novel coronavirus a few days back. Looking at his Covid-19 reports he was admitted to a private hospital in Chennai. His health started collapsing down, June 17th morning the actor took his last breath. His fan following and the whole Tamil film family paid a tribute to Shaman Mithru. Condolences were given to his family.
In the previous interview conducted by the Times Of India Shaman mentions - "Thoratti is a film that delves into the lives of shepherds who walk miles in search of pasture for their goats and sheep. This story happens in a village. And the lead actor who plays a shepherd needed to look like one. Not many actors would be willing to take the risks involved in getting tanned, losing tons of weight and walking barefoot. So, I decided to take the plunge and do the role myself."
