Rohan Sippy's Nautanki Saala based on French romcom Apres Vous

This is the season of remakes and everyone seems to be taking pride in making them! Similar is the case of Rohan Sippy’s upcoming film Nautanki Saala. Zoom has understood that the film featuring Ayushmann Khurrana and Kunal Roy Kapoor is actually based on a French romcom titled Apres Vous (After You). While the French film has a restaurant backdrop, Nautanki Saala’s plot revolves around theatre. Reportedly, a lot of elements from the French inspiration are reflected in the Hindi remake. What’s more… the makers have apparently given due credit to the original movie! Recently even the Bhatt’s admitted that Murder 3 was inspired from a Spanish film.
