Readers, the actors are all set to act as a couple in Agnidev Chatterjee's next Hindi project Jihad, a film on the Dhaka terror attack.
As per media reports, in the film, Rohit’s character Abhishek and Rituparna’s character Aparna marry each other out of compulsion. As the story progresses, it will be shown that Abhishek, a photojournalist with a French daily disappear while covering an assignment in Bosnia. Then Aparna, along with one of her husband’s colleagues, will begin her search of her husband, only to be left stunned with her discovery.
A track revolving around a terror outfit's plot to assassinate the French president is also a crucial part of the film.
Speaking about her character, Rituparna said to a daily, “My character is quite complicated and I love playing roles which are intricate. It has a lot of shades.
The others actors to play pivotal roles in the film include Rajesh Sharma, Koneenica Banerjee, Shabaaz Khan and Rachel White.
