Saif Ali Khan and Dinesh Vijan continue to be partners of Illuminati Films

Reports of Saif Ali Khan splitting with his long time business partner Dinesh Vijan created quite a buzz in industry circles today. In an interview given to a leading tabloid, Saif was quoted saying that he had split with his business partner Dinesh Vijan and their earlier jointly managed Illuminati films would now be headed by Saif alone with Dinesh looking after Maddock Films. However providing a twist to the tale is the press statement issued by Illuminati and Maddock films representatives who claim that Saif and Dinesh are very much together and they still co-own Illuminati. However, the release also mentions that the Saif and Dinesh will be producing movies under their own banners though it's not clear from the release what the name of Saif's independent banner would be. The detailed statement released reads as follows: Illuminati films is and will continue to be jointly owned by Saif Ali Khan and Dinesh Vijan. The two will jointly produce films under this banner. However, Saif and Dinesh will also produce films separately and independently under their respective banners. The future line up of Illuminati films will have Happy Ending which is all set to release on 28 November whereas, Dinesh Vijan's Maddock films Finding Fanny will hit theaters on 12 September'14 followed by Badlapur which is set to release on 20 February 2015.
