Sajid Nadiadwala's Housefull 5 Sets Global Benchmark with Akshay Kumar’s Widest Overseas Release Yet

MUMBAI: Housefull 5 is making history before it even hits cinemas. The fifth instalment of India’s biggest comedy franchise is set for Akshay Kumar’s widest overseas release to date, launching across 85+ countries, 1300+ locations, and 2000+ screens worldwide.
This marks the first time ever that two versions of an Indian film—Housefull 5A and Housefull 5B—will be released simultaneously across international markets, each featuring a different climax. The bold move is being lauded as a game-changing strategy in global distribution, designed to surprise fans and drive repeat viewings.
The response has been phenomenal. Advance bookings for Housefull 5 are tracking higher than both Singham Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 in major markets.
In New Zealand and Fiji, Housefull 5 is poised to become the fourth highest Bollywood film in terms of advance sales post-pandemic, trailing only Pathaan, Jawan, and Animal. These figures highlight the franchise’s global charm and the overwhelming enthusiasm for its bold, one-of-a-kind storytelling format where the story and screenplay is written by Sajid Nadiadwala.
With two alternate endings, a mega ensemble cast, and unprecedented scale, Housefull 5 is not just a film—it’s a theatrical event that’s bringing comedy, chaos, and innovation to screens worldwide.
Housefull 5 releases internationally on 6th June 2025, Directed by Tarun Mansukhani distributed by Marudhar Entertainment and FunAsia Films.
