Salman Khan flies kite with Narendra Modi, calls him a good man but doesn't endorse him as the next Prime Minister

Trust the phenomenon called Salman Khan to charm even Chief Ministers of Indian states. After performing at Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav’s Safai Mahotsav, the dashing star who is currently riding a frenzy wave throughout the country, is now touring Gujarat as part of Jai Ho’s promotional tour. And receiving the star warmly this time was none other than Narendra Modi who hosted a lunch session for Salman. The Chief Minister even tweeted about the same on his Twitter page: Having Undhiyu for lunch with Salman Khan. Undhiyu is a Gujarati delicacy and is a must-have during Uttarayan! Modi also later indulged in a kite flying session with the superstar and was all praise for Salman’s kite-flying skills. “It was good to see Salman Khan trying his hand at flying kites! He flew the kites well,” tweeted Modi along with a picture of Salman flying a kite. Salman, on his part was all praise for Modi. Addressing a joint press conference with Modi, Salman said, “He(Modi) is a great man. I have not seen this sort of development elsewhere.” The star, however didn’t endorse Modi as his choice to be India’s next Prime Minister. “God will decide who is the best man for the country. May the best man win. Modi saab should be able to fulfill his destiny.” Salman however, did reveal that his father, Salim Khan does have frequent conversations with Modi. This special bonhomie on a very special occasion between two of India's famous albeit controversial personalities was heartening to watch.
