After playing Don in Don: The Case Begins Again in 2006 and Don: The Chase Continues in 2011, Shah Rukh Khan has another film of the genre up his sleeve.
The actor has given an “in-principle nod” to director Rahul Dholakia’s yet untitled film that would have the actor play a Gujrati don.
Interestingly, SRK will team up with Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani, his Don series makers of Excel Entertainment for Dholakia’s venture.
In all likelihood, SRK will take up the project next year. After the promotions of Chennai Express, the super star will start with Farah Khan’s Happy New Year from September-October.
Although playing Don wouldn’t be hard for Shah Rukh, what could make this actor slog a bit is in terms of speaking the Gujarati language. If all goes well, a major part of the film will be shot in Gujarat.
It is heard that the Chak De India actor will undertake a whirlwind tour of Gujarat to study the behaviour and speaking methods ( dialogue delivery) of the people of the state.
