MUMBAI: In April, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) had recovered large quantities of banned drugs at actor Gaurav Dixit's house, located in Lokhandwala.
While returning to his house, as soon as the actor and his friend spotted the police, they fled away. Since then, they were searching for him until now.
Reportedly, the actor has been arrested by the police officials and will be produced in court for custody.

Now, the latest tweet of the leading news agency reads, "NCB arrested TV actor Gaurav Dixit after MD and Charas were recovered from his residence in a raid. He has been arrested in connection with the interrogation of actor Ajaz Khan: Narcotics Control Bureau.".

Actor Ajaz Khan, who was also seen as a contestant on Bigg Boss 7, was arrested by NCB in connection with drugs on March 31 after interrogation on March 30 in Mumbai. Ajaz, in custody, reportedly tested positive for coronavirus and was shifted to a Mumbai hospital. Later, he was sent to judicial custody by the court.
Gaurav has worked in the TV serial Seeta Aur Geeta and was also part of films like Happy Bhaag Jayegi, Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi, Dahek: A Restless Mind.
