MUMBAI: Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif are no doubt one of the most loved Bollywood Jodi, the pair is loved not only on screen but also off screen. The actress made a prominent name for herself in the film industry after starring with Salman in Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya? and reportedly, that was when the duo started dating.

Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif’s alleged relationship was somewhat short-lived. Although Salman would be quite open about his fondness towards Katrina and call her “baby” in public, they soon went their own separate ways. A while after, rumours of Katrina and Ranbir Kapoor dating one another was all over the headlines.

Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan didn’t have a bitter breakup and continue to be great friends. The duo has also starred in many movies together that went on to become a huge success. However, here’s taking you back to 2014, at Arpita Khan Sharma’s wedding wherein Salman left no stones unturned to embarrass Katrina.

On the stage, Salman was seen calling Katrina Kaif on the mike as her song Chikni Chameli started playing. “Katrina Kaif, Katrina Kaif tumhara gaana baj raha hai. Please come on stage (Loosely translated to: Katrina Kaif, Katrina Kaif, your song is being played. Please come on stage." Katrina budged to come and hid behind Karan Johar. On the mike, in front of everyone, Salman was then heard saying, “Ok fine, not Katrina Kaif. Katrina Kapoor, please come on stage!"

But Salman wasn’t in the mood to stop there. As Katrina went towards the stage, he took a dig at the actress and said, “Mai kya karoon... I gave you a chance to become Katrina Khan, but you chose to be Katrina Kapoor (Loosely translated to: What do I do... I gave you a chance...)!"

As we said, relationship or breakup, none of the two can be spoken in affirmation for Katrina and Salman since the duo never admitted to their relationship, however, their actions spoke a lot. In fact, Salman had once shared how he didn’t like Katrina wearing a short skirt. Speaking to Rajeev Masand, he had shared, “Once I saw she was wearing a really small skirt and I didn’t like it. But then you have to sometimes chill and let it go. And I don’t have a choice, and it’s better to stay away from those things.”

Salman and Katrina have starred together in films such as Yuvvraaj, Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai and Bharat.

Relationship-wise, while Katrina is dating Vicky Kaushal, Salman is single at 55 but is rumoured to be dating Romanian anchor-actress Iulia Vantur.
