MUMBAI: Actress Shraddha Kapoor plays the lead in Stree 2 was captured leaving a crowded Mumbai theatre on August 15. The video has now gone viral. Shraddha looked stylish as she navigated the excited crowd outside the cinema while wearing a bright red hoodie, wide-legged trousers, and white sneakers.

Maddock Films' horror-comedy Stree 2 is getting an overwhelming response at the box office. Amar Kaushik's film used positive word-of-mouth and the excitement around its sequel to achieve record-breaking opening-day receipts.

The Independence Day release grossed an incredible Rs 46 crore net domestically on its first day of release, plus an additional Rs 8.55 crore from paid previews, for a grand total of Rs 54.5 crore.

Stree 2 becomes the fourth-highest opening in Bollywood history with this enormous opening, which is an incredible accomplishment for a mid-sized movie. Some of the biggest hits in the industry, such as Salman Khan's Tiger 3, Aamir Khan's Thugs of Hindostan, and Hrithik Roshan's War, were overtaken by the film's tsunami-like opening weekend take.
