Now, according to a report in SpotboyE.com, Sood sent out a truck full of food to the poor and needy yesterday to Malvani in Malad. It so happened that the Cheddi Singh of Dabangg got a SOS call yesterday from someone who did not identify himself but briefed him about the delicate situation in Malad whereby Sonu was told that some families out there were in dire straits, especially in the Malvani area.
Sonu immediately set about to make arrangements. In a few hours from then, the hungry and needy were provided meals. Till date, Sonu has come to the rescue of 1 lakh people when it comes to their need of food and grains. When the portal contacted the actor, Sood simply said, "I am not comfortable talking about this. I am just doing my duty. I am just following my conscience."
