MUMBAI: Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) captain Pat Cummins recently found himself at the center of speculation after his wife, Becky, posted an Instagram story hinting at her departure from India. The post, which included a picture of the couple, sparked rumors that Cummins might also be leaving India during the ongoing IPL 2025 season.

However, a reliable source from SRH confirmed that the Australian skipper remained fully available for the remainder of the tournament and had only accompanied his wife to the Mumbai airport.
SRH’s campaign so far has been underwhelming, with only two wins from seven matches, placing them ninth on the points table. Notably, both victories came at home in Hyderabad. Their most recent match ended in a four-wicket defeat against Mumbai Indians. Despite a strong start with a 44-run win over Rajasthan Royals, SRH lost momentum, suffering four consecutive losses before bouncing back with a dominant eight-wicket victory over Punjab Kings—highlighted by Abhishek Sharma’s explosive 141-run innings.
