SSR death probe: CBI gets in touch with ED officials

MUMBAI: The ED had stepped into the SSR case a few weeks ago, and now, with the CBI joining in the probe, the two will be investigating the case together. 

As per Times Now, the CBI got in touch with the ED officials and asked for the details of the case. They will be analysing the phone records of Rhea and her family.  

They have also asked for the data dump of the electronic evidence. A week ago, Rhea and her family's phones have been given to the forensic department for examination by the ED, and they also want to retrieve the deleted WhatsApp messages. 

The CBI too will be looking into the financial angle. They have already examined bank statements of the actor from the four different banks.
