MUMBAI: Maddock Horror Comedy Universe started with the release of Stree featuring Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee Aparshakti Khurana and some more. The movie was directed by Dinesh Vijan and released in 2018.
The movie introduced the audience to the genre of horror comedy in the best way and garnered a huge amount of love from the audience. Soon there came some more movies like Bhediya starring Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon, Roohi starring Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor, the unpredictable dhamaka Munjya starring Abhay Verma, Sharvari and Mona Singh.
Previously, we saw the horror universe reaching a new milestone with the last release Stree 2 starring Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khurana. The movie also featured great cameos of Akshay Kumar and Varun Dhawan, setting the stage for many more movies to enter the universe.
During the trailer launch of Stree 2, makers had revealed after the Rajkummar Rao-Shraddha Kapoor starrer, next in lime Thama and it had got everyone really eager to know more about the movie. On the other hand, there was also a confusion as audience already knew about the arrival of Vampires of Vijaynagar. We knew that it was going to star Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna. We also reported recently that Nazawuddin Siddiqui will also be a part of the said movie.
Well, things have elevated now as the makers have finally made an official announcement and we don’t want you to miss:
Turns out, Vampires of Vijaynagar is actually ‘Thama’ while all the other details remain as it is. The announcement has surely got a lot of people wondering while we already know that it’s going to be a love story…but a bloody one.
