MUMBAI: Actor Sunny Kaushal, the brother of Vicky Kaushal, has reportedly been dating actress Sharvari Wagh for several years. After Sunny Kaushal and Sharvari Wagh attended the IIFA awards in Abu Dhabi together, dating speculations about them began to circulate. Ever since they have not only been going out regularly but have also never hesitated to be photographed together. Sunny has refuted these allegations.

Sunny stated, appearing on Raunaq Rajani's Relationshit Advice, “I am single.” When blatantly asked if he is dating Sharvari, he said that she’s a “very good friend”. This led the Taapsee Pannu, Vikrant Massey and the audience to break into laughs.
In response to earlier reports that they were dating, Sunny Kaushal told the popular news portal, “I have told my parents long back to not look at me as though I am the next in line. It doesn’t bother me when my personal life makes headlines. It doesn’t hamper our equation at all because you understand that at the end of the day, they are just news headlines. It would be stupid of us to make it a reality and take it very seriously.”
While the actors never really admitted to dating each other, actor Ranveer Singh seemingly confirmed their relationship. In an episode of Koffee with Karan, Ranveer was asked with whom Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal would go on a double date. He was quick to take Sunny and Sharvari’s names.
Sunny will now appear in Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba. The plot follows Rani Kashyap and Rishabh Saxena as they look for a fresh start in the energetic city of Agra, continuing from where the first film Haseen Dillruba left off.
Their quest takes a dramatic turn when Sunny Kaushal's character, Abhimanyu, arrives, adding a new level of intrigue to the story as they are pursued by the authorities and have blood stains on their route. With Jimmy Shergill and numerous others, the lovers find new enemies who wish to stop their dreams of a "happily ever after."
The sequel of Haseen Dillruba, starring Taapsee Pannu, Sunny Kaushal, and Vikrant Massey, concluded filming in December 2023. During the press conference, Taapsee stated, “Hai toh sequel. Toh, continuation hota hai ek taarike se. Main yahi kahungi ke Phir Aayi Haseen Dillruba ki Rani mein thora zyada pyaar hai, thori zyada himmat hai aur thora zyada pagalpan hai. Kyunki jo pagalpan ke hadh se na guzre woh pyar hee kya? Hosh mein toh rishte nibhaye jaatey hai (If there’s a sequel, it’s like a continuation. I’ll say this: in “Phir Aayi Haseen Dillruba ki Rani,” there’s a bit more love, a bit more courage, and a bit more craziness. Because what’s love without a little madness? Relationships are built in consciousness).”
