MUMBAI: SS Rajamouli's 'RRR' was released on Friday in theatres and it has been on a record-breaking spree. Alia essayed the role of Sita, who is Ram Charan's love interest while Olivia is Jr NTR's ladylove in the film. But before both the ladies came on board, other actresses were approached to essay their roles.
Katrina Kaif's sister Isabelle Kaif was also approached to play Olivia's role in the film. Reportedly, Isabelle rejected the film when she was approached because she wanted the script and details of the movie.
Parineeti Chopra was offered to play Sita's character in 'RRR', which was later passed to Alia Bhatt.

In the past, Shraddha Kapoor was reportedly approached for 'RRR'. But the actress turned down the offer as she was busy with other projects back then. A source had told TOI, "Shraddha is now one of the busiest actresses in Bollywood. She already has to adjust her dates according to multiple films that she has signed up. Her name was on top of the list, but it does seem that she will not be able to adjust her dates for the film."
The makers had also approached Amy Jackson to play Jr NTR's love interest in the film. But later, the makers dropped the plan of getting her on board since she was pregnant with her first baby.
Daisy was roped in to play Olivia's character in 'RRR'. But she backed out of the project due to unavoidable reasons. It was said that the delay in the film's shooting has forced the actress to leave the film.
