MUMBAI: Ever since the untimely demise of the Chhichhore actor, Sushant Singh Rajput, the fans and the family are eagerly waiting for the justice and wanting to know what exactly happened that day with the actor, While the Mumbai Police was first investigating Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case, it was then handed over to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) after the Supreme Court’s order. A team of forensic doctors from AIIMS stepped in to analyze the post mortem report conducted by the Cooper Hospital Mumbai. Recently, it was reported that the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Forensic Medical Board ruled out the murder angle in Sushant’s death case. Now, Mumbai Police has reacted to the AIIMS report, and has stated that they stand vindicated.

Mumbai Police commissioner Param Bir Singh, while speaking to PTI, said that some people with ‘vested interests’ criticized their investigation initially without having any knowledge about the case. He said that they stand vindicated after the AIIMS report ruled out murder angle. “Without knowing anything about our investigation and without having seen our report some vested interests criticized our investigation. We all stand vindicated by these findings of AIIMS,” said Mumbai Police commissioner Param Bir Singh.
The CBI had taken over the investigation in Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case after the Centre informed the Supreme Court that it had agreed to accept the Bihar government’s recommendation to let the CBI investigate the case.
Meanwhile, Sushant Singh Rajput’s sister Shweta Singh Kirti tweeted about all eyes being on the CBI. She wrote, “The test of faith is when you can stay strong and unshaken during the testing time... I urge my extended family to have faith in God and pray from all your heart... Pray that the truth comes out. #AllEyesOnCBI."
