Sushant Singh Rajput death probe: SSR’s family lawyer to meet CBI chief Rishi Kumar Shukla for a new forensic team

The family is not satisfied with the AIIMS report and now is demanding for a new forensic team

MUMBAI: The AIIMS report is a big blow to everyone who is fighting for justice in the SSR case. They all believed that it was a murder. However, the recent report turned the case upside down and stated that it was a clear case of suicide.

The family has now dismissed the report and questioned how could the AIIMS department give a conclusive report when half post-mortem was already done and they didn’t have SSR’s body to conduct the autopsy.

As per India Today, the family lawyer has stated that the AIIMS report was concluded with a shabby post mortem conducted by the Cooper Hospital. He also claims that they didn’t have the photograph of his fractured leg so how can a conclusive report be possible.

Soon the lawyer will be meeting the chief of CBI and will also be writing to the agency that the family wants a fresh forensic team to examine the reports and not work under any political pressure.

He also said that the CBI should investigate the families' doubt separately and claimed that the reports of the AIIMS are unsettling as it's done on a shady post mortem report where the Cooper Hospital didn’t even mention the time of death.

The family is going all out to seek justice and that the case gets a fair closure soon.
