
MUMBAI: The beloved Shin chan franchise, with over 30 years of history, is set to make a grand return to Indian cinemas with PVR INOX Pictures for its latest film, Shin chan: Our Dinosaur Diary. Marking a historic milestone, this is the first time a Shin chan movie is releasing in theatres in India. Directed by Shinobu Sasaki, Our Dinosaur Diary transports audiences to "Dino’s Island," a futuristic theme park in Tokyo where dinosaurs have been brought back to life. What starts as an exciting summer quickly turns into chaos when Shinnosuke and his family take in a baby dinosaur named Nana. As a sinister force hunts Nana for its hidden secret, Shinnosuke, his loyal dog Shiro, and the Kasukabe Guard must embark on a thrilling mission to protect their new friend—while rampaging dinosaurs wreak havoc across Tokyo and Kasukabe!
On April 19th, TV Asahi and PVR INOX hosted the Indian premiere of Shin chan: Our Dinosaur Diary where a total of 245 fortunate fans were invited to attend the special event. Fans had shared their excitement about the film's theatrical release in India for the first time. Many commented "The perfect combination of slapstick comedy and emotional moments was fantastic," "I haven't laughed this much in a long time," and "It was such a joy to see Shin chan, a character I've grown up with, on the big screen."
