MUMBAI: The entertainment world has some talented and gorgeous actresses who are entertaining the film buffs with their work.
While Bollywood has emerged to be one of the biggest entertainment industries in the world, the south film industry in India is not far behind. While many from the south industry have emerged successful in Bollywood, but did you know that there are many actors from Bollywood, who are not South Indians but are ruling the south box office like a boss?
Let’s take a look at some actresses who are not South Indians but rule the film industries down South.
Rakul Preet Singh: Rakul has been a part of many hit Bollywood films, but did you know that she kick-started her career with a Kannada film? According to reports, Rakul always wanted to be an actress and she began her modelling career at the age of 18. In 2009 she made her acting debut in the Kannada film Gilli. Rakul reportedly stated that she signed up the film "with the aim to earn a little extra pocket money" and that she was unaware of "how big south Indian films were", according to a report by ETimes. She mainly works in Tamil and Telugu language films and has a huge fan base down south.

Kajal Aggarwal: Kajal hails from Mumbai, but she has remained a big name down south. Even though the actress has many notable works in Bollywood, she is mostly known for her work in the south film industry, especially in Telugu.
Ileana D'cruz: Ileana forayed into Bollywood with Ranbir Kapoor's Barfi but established her name down South. She has been a part of many south films.
