MUMBAI : Sajjad Delafrooz grabbed everyone’s attention with his performance in Tiger Zinda Hai. He was the antagonist in the film, and got all the appreciation for his negative act. Recently, Sajjad was seen in Freddy and once again his performance was praised.

Were you hesitant to take up the role in Freddy as it once again has the negative shades?
I never hesitate to do a negative role because it’s really challenging and fun. I love to challenge myself and it gives me a lot of opportunities to add to the character. So, it’s a lot of fun.

After Tiger Zinda Hai everyone expected to see you more in films, but unfortunately that didn’t happen. Did you become choosy or there were not good offers?
After Tiger Zinda Hai, I was working on a couple of international projects. I was also working on writing a couple of things which I hope in future I will be able to talk more about.
Tell us something about your upcoming projects.
About future projects, hopefully on the right time I will announce it and that will be very soon.
Sajjad started his journey with a small role in Akshay Kumar’s Baby and then played the main antagonist in Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer Tiger Zinda Hai. He was also seen in the web series Special OPS.
