MUMBAI : Following their three-year marriage, Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal have been sharing amusing tidbits about their lives together. Vicky, who is currently promoting his forthcoming movie Bad Newz, Recently, Vicky, who celebrated wife Katrina’s 42nd birthday with a sweet post has now opened up about how he met the Merry Christmas actress and other interesting details of their marriage.
Vicky said, “We met at an award. I was hosting the event. We met backstage before appearing on the stage. That was the first time I introduced myself to her and she introduced herself to me.” he further revealed, “First few times, nothing was planned ki hum milne ka plan kar rahe hain ya hum baat kar rahe hain (Initially we didn’t plan our meetings). The first time we ever spoke to each other was a part of an interview while the cameras were rolling. Of course, we had each other’s number and we would randomly bump into each other. Aisa kuch nahin tha. I think, some things are just meant to happen. Sometimes you realize that it is happening against all odds and that’s how it happened. After a point we stopped questioning and analyzing it, and became committed to it.”
He added, “When angry or sad, I need isolation and process these emotions in solitude and rationally think about it. However, when it comes to Katrina, I don’t take the same approach.”
He added, “We both can’t sleep if we have had a fight or argument. She wants to engage. That’s naturally her style, and mine is completely opposite, which is why I feel we beautifully fill each other’s gaps. I am the most rational guy and she is the most sensitive person. Her emotional intelligence is amazing. Wo bahot khatarnak hai and I always trust on that aur mera bahot katttar practical, rational dimag hai.”

Vicky concluded saying, “If we are having a disagreement, we have two different perspectives. My perspective will be logical, and hers is emotional-based. It sometimes helps to be completely different in that sense. Blame karke kya jeet gaya? Theek hai you’re right and I am wrong. As a couple ab tabhi jeet te ho jab aap haans khel rahe ho. Victory mein koi shanti nahin milegi.”
