MUMBAI: Crackdown is one of the much talked about recent thriller on the OTT platform and with the overdose of series, it has still managed to stand out. The series marks the digital debut for director Apoorva Lakhia. And recently, Vipin Bhardwaj got talking about the experience, shooting with the director, the series and more.

1.Why did you take up this project? What do you have to say about Apoorva Lakhia as a director?

Firstly, Who doesn't want to work with Apoorva Lakhia. He  is such a talented director and working with him is an amazing experience. I always wanted to work with him. He is very disciplined and organized and knows exactly what he wants. He ensures that a positive atmosphere is maintained on the sets  He treats everyone with so much respect and really. So it’s an honor to work with him

2.Tell us something about your character and how did you prepare for it?

We had our workshop for action sequences.  Mostly I would like to act in real time so I used to deliver  dialogues only on shoots, so no preparations at home for it. The energy, rush at the shoot is so much that makes our character promising.

3.How has the lockdown treated you?

The lockdown period was  good. I totally enjoyed the me time as I got to explore myself. I do yoga,  shape my craft and kickboxing. Yes , thats all about it

4.Which is your dream role?

Actually I want to experiment with many roles but I mostly want to engage myself in real dramatic stories.

5.Tell us something about your future projects?

Well due to the current scenario I am taking it easy. But yes, my film Wanton has just been released in India on MX player. And many more projects are in the line.
