MUMBAI: Actor Varun Kapoor is known for his roles in Swaragini and Saraswatichandra. The actor recently made a huge announcement through his social media confirming that he will be making his film debut with Gangubai Kathiawadi.
Gangubai Khataiwadi is a much awaited film that stars Alia Bhatt in the lead role and it is directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Varun who remained missing from the screens for a long time is going to woo our hearts again with his striking persona.
He took to Instagram to make the announcement. He wrote, "Surprise Surprise! Super excited to announce my Bollywood debut with #gangubaikathiawadi releasing in cinemas near you on 6th January, 2022. The actor received a lot of well-wishes. Shilpa Shirodkar, his co-star on the Savitri Devi show, expressed her delight in his success. She commented on the post. She wrote, “I'm so so so happy to hear this news. Super happy for you my dear, I wish you the best always and I'm sure you will only shine as always."
Apart from Varun, Shantanu Maheshwari is also a part of the movie. Gangubai Kathiawadi will be released on January 6, 2022.
