MUMBAI: Well-known Bollywood composer and singer Wajid Khan of music director duo Sajid-Wajid popular for his works in Salman Khan's films like 'Ek Tha Tiger', 'Dabangg' and 'Ek Tha Tiger' passed away on Monday morning due to coronavirus complications leading to kidney issues.
Wajid’s death came as a shocker to the entire industry. The Bollywood celebrities were heartbroken with Wajid’s demise as it was not easy to accept the news after Irrfan and Rishi Kapoor’s death.

They recently composed songs 'Bhai Bhai' and 'Pyaar Karona' which were released on YouTube. The duo also served as mentors on reality shows 'Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Singing Superstar' and 'Sa Re Ga Ma Pa 2012'. They composed the title track for television reality shows Bigg Boss season 4 and 6.
Since the duo has been part of Zee TV shows in the past, the channel has decided to pay tribute to Wajid Khan by having a special show this Friday.
According to our sources, it will be a musical tribute to Wajid and the show will be called ‘Main Hoon Dabangg’.
