Multivision Multimedia to bring Nicolas Cage's 'Stolen' in India on 9 November

Multivision Multimedia, the independent distribution house, is all set to bring fast paced action thriller Stolen to India in the first week of November (2012). <em>Stolen</em> is a story about a father and a former thief played by Nicolas Cage whose daughter gets kidnapped. The movie is directed by Simon West who also directed the blockbuster <em>The Expendables</em> 2 that came out this year. The movie will be released in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
Multivision Multimedia, the independent distribution house, is all set to bring fast paced action thriller Stolen to India in the first week of November (2012). Stolen is a story about a father and a former thief played by Nicolas Cage whose daughter gets kidnapped. The movie is directed by Simon West who also directed the blockbuster The Expendables 2 that came out this year. The movie will be released in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. The story follows Will Montgomery (played by Nicolas Cage), a master thief who has been sent to prison for eight years. Upon his release, he’s ready to leave his criminal past behind and rebuild his relationship with estranged daughter, Alison Loeb (played by Sami Gayle). Montgomery’s former criminal cohorts and FBI agent Tim Harlend (played by Danny Huston), are all convinced that the loot, worth $10 Million dollars, was hidden away by Montgomery before he was sentenced. In order to get his hands on it, former partner in crime, Vincent (played by Josh Lucas), kidnaps Alison and demands the loot as ransom. Speaking on releasing Stolen in India, Sunil Udhani, Distribution Head, Multivision Multimedia said, “Nicolas Cage has his own brand of cinema now and that draws a lot of people to the theatres. Stolen is action packed thriller which comes from Simon West, the director behind films like Con Air and The Expendables 2. We are positive that the audience will love to see this offering.” Simon West and Academy Award winner Nicolas Cage have worked together in the past on 1997 blockbuster Con Air. Stolen is produced by Jesse Kennedy, Matthew Joynes and Ren Besson. Multivision Multimedia last releases in India this year were Looper, The Expendables 2, Piranha 3DD and The Raid: Redemption.
