Neha Marda surprises mum with a solitaire!

Neha Marda (Gehna of Balika Vadhu) is not only celebrating New Year but has a nice surprise for her mother too. "I have got a three day off this year. Usually, I take up various shows for new year, but this year I was bored doing the same thing and decided not to accept anything. I felt why should I work at the year end and earn money, instead I will chill out and feel good. So I will be free on all the three days." She will celebrate New Year in Mumbai with her friends and then fly to "Kolkata to celebrate my mother's birthday on January 1. It's like a ritual and she also knows that I make time any how to celebrate her special day with her. But my time will be divided between my friends and family. I will stay there for one day, as next day I have to resume my work." Neha's mother is fond of jewellery. "Usually, she already knows our surprises. This year I have got a solitaire for her and I hope she likes it." The team of Balika Vadhu had already partied hard when one of their senior creative heads Lata Sridhar gave them a farewell party last week, which was kind of a combined celebration of Christmas and New Year.
