When 'Jethalal' had bhang in real life

As Mahashivratri approaches celebrations are on in full swing in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. It was during this when Dilip Joshi was being offered thandai and bhang but he refused it. On being probed a little further, he recalled an incident where he had been to his friend’s place for Mahashivratri. That is when the actor had bhang in the name of Mahaprasad and the outcome was something he never expected. He had a full glass of bhang and wasn’t in his senses for two whole days! Joshi loves narrating the incident in his typical Jethalal style and how he got away with everything during those two days, making the cast and crew on the sets roll on the floor with laughter!
