MUMBAI: A veteran actor Shatrughan Sinha used his signature dialogue "Khamosh!" to put an end to any rumors about his presence at his daughter Sonakshi Sinha's wedding to Zaheer Iqbal. He emphasized how disappointed he was by people who shared false news regarding his equation with his daughter.
Shatrughan and his other family members were reportedly unhappy with the wedding ever since news of Sonakshi and Zaheer's marriage became public. The veteran actor was rumored to have missed his own daughter's wedding.
Shatrughan debunked all rumors, taking a strong stance against trolls and declaring that it was none of their business to make speculations about his family. "Tell me, whose life is it anyway? It’s just the life of my only daughter Sonakshi, whom I’m very proud of and immensely fond of," he told the popular news portal.
He continues by saying that he had no reason not to miss the wedding and that he will be there for sure.
Shatrughan added that Sonakshi looks great with Zaheer at her side and that she has every right to select her life partner.
"Those who are coming out with fake news are just sounding very frustrated with this joyous occasion as they are spreading nothing but lies. I’d like to caution them with my signature dialogue: Khamosh, it’s none of your business," he added.
Shatrughan was questioned by the media about Sonakshi and Zaheer's wedding after it became public online. At the time, he said that children no longer need their parents' approval; instead, they just inform them of their decision. His words created rumors of a rift in the family.
Afterwards, rumours also stated that Sonakshi's brother Luv Sinha, and mother Poonam Sinha had stopped following her on Instagram. The soon-to-be bride is getting ready for her big day amidst all the talk, and she just enjoyed her bachelorette party with her friends. On June 23, Sonakshi and Zaheer will tie the knot in a private ceremony in Mumbai.
