Nimai, Amit, Sheetal, Deepshika and Reshmi to feature in Parikshit Sahni's upcoming TV show

Veteran actor Parikshit Sahni is producing a show for Doordarshan related to a father-daughter relationship which will be deeply connected to mother earth (environment). The serial has been christened Prakriti. As per our sources, it will feature well known TV personalities Nimai Bali, Amit Behl, Sheetal Maulik of Gutur Gu fame, Deepshika Nagpal and Reshmi Ghosh. Sheetal will essay the role of the female lead Prakriti and Amit Behl will essay the role of her father. The main story will have a flashback plot where Amit will be shown as an honest forest officer while in the present he would be shown joining hands with the underworld. His daughter Prakriti, who will be training under Nimal, will be an officer wanting to unveil the mystery of her father. The other actors too will essay equally important roles here. The show will be a bi-weekly and it will air every Thursday and Friday at 9pm from 28 August 2014. When contacted Amit he confirmed the same and said, “This one is a very different character from the kind of roles that I’ve essayed earlier. In fact, the look too is different and my character has a lot of surprises.” We couldn’t get through the rest of the cast till the time of filing this article.
