Acting is my passion and I am not getting away from it: Saurabh Pandey

TV actor Saurabh Pandey was much in talks a couple of months ago to feature in his first production an Indo-Pak film Tujhse Hee Raabta starring Sara Khan (of Bigg Boss fame) and Yasir Shah (last seen in Yeh Hai Aashiqui). In fact, there were also rumours about him quitting acting. “I wanted to produce during Jiya Jale – his first TV show as an actor – but things did not materialise then. However, I met Yasir (Shah) during the same time and he had a lot of contacts in the Pakistani entertainment Industry. That’s how we had a tie up with Hum TV there. They’d be airing our film this coming Eid,” told the artist. Will you be producing more TV shows and films? “While I was shooting for my last show Ganga Ki Dheej I came up with my production company titled White Light Army Pictures. White light stands for the purity and positivity while the army for the team that would be working on every project. So, I was very clear about producing shows and films,” stated Saurabh. Do you have any other projects in the pipeline? “Yes, we are in talks with a Dubai based channel and if everything goes right we’ll be producing a show for them. Other than this I recently shot a music video on a Pak-Sindhi folk song. This song is sung by Jazim Sharma the singing sensation of Saregama India (2012).” What about acting? “My focus for a while was to set up my production company and now that it is doing decent I will be taking up acting offers. You will see me in films, video albums and TV shows.” Which means you have offers in hand? “Nothing concrete yet but I am sure I’d get some good offers soon. I know that a lot of people said that I had left acting completely having not seen me around for good two to three years but acting is my passion and I am not getting away from it.” We wish you luck in your future endeavors Saurabh.
