I was not so much into fashion as a child - Alia Bhatt

Alia Bhatt and her sense of fashion has always dominated headlines as much as her acting histrionics if not more. Her sartorial aesthetics have always been appreciated and have found massive takers especially among the youth of the country so much so that the actress launched her own new collection today called 'Alia'. The collection will feature all clothes synonymous with Alia's sense of style. Surprisingly, Alia was never really fashion conscious as a kid. Infact, even while growing up she thought clothes suited mannequins more than herself. Said Alia, "As a girl in school, I was not that interested in fashion. I thought clothes looked far better on mannequins. It was my character Shanaya in Student of the Year that made me fashion conscious. Because of that I got into fashion. Dressing up to look good is a significant part of a girl's life. I too take my time to dress up and enjoy it." When it comes to Bollywood, Alia finds Sonam's sense of style the most appealing and Manish Malhotra is the designer that she would trust her life with. On the professional front, Alia believes she is more an actor today rather than a superstar. "One becomes a superstar only when one gets the love and affection of people." Well, we are sure Alia is on her way to becoming one slowly but steadily.
