Indra Kumar to make a film with Aamir Khan

Aamir Khan and director Indra Kumar stitched a formidable partnership in the 90s delivering hits like Dil, Ishq and Mann. However, with the advent of the new century both Aamir and Indra seem to have moved on in their respective professional lives, the former going on to become a superstar courtesy films like Lagaan, Rang De Basanti and Dhoom 3. Indra Kumar meanwhile directed a few forgettable flicks until sex comedy and its windfall at the box-office brought him back in the reckoning. What's interesting to note is that Indra Kumar and Aamir have never worked with each other after Mann which was almost more than a decade back. A similar pattern has also been observed in the case of SRK and Abbas-Mastan, both of whom too haven't collaborated for a long while now. When we asked Indra if it's difficult to work with the Khans today now that they are superstars, the director said, "I can't comment on why SRK and Abbas-Mastan haven't collaborated because I don't know what's going on between them. As far as me working with Aamir is concerned, I do want to work with him. We do meet often and discuss things but haven't been able to reach a consensus yet. We both are strong headed individuals. Unless we both come to an agreement, we won't be able to work together. But this I can say that I will for sure make one more film with Aamir. I don't know what film it would be but it will happen in the near future." Well, let's hope the moment arrives soon.
