My kids are my priority: Renuka Shahane

Actor Renuka Shahane, who almost disappeared from television serials for quite some time now, is back with the latest Rajshri show Mere Rang Mein Rangne Waali on Life OK. The actor in a recent chat with Tellychakkar.com, revealing the mystery of her disappearance commented, “My children have always been my priority. They were young at that time and I had to look after them and hence could not take up any projects which required most of my time. Moreover, those projects were not exciting enough to take up”. “My children are a bit grown up now, so I can think of taking up some new projects. Having said that I would like to mention that my character in this serial will be a cameo and I will be playing the role of Radha’s best friend’s mother, who is a lawyer by profession. And she will be guiding Radha,” added the actor. Talking about the show, Renuka said, “The best part about this show is that, unlike other ones, which contains bold plot, this is an entirely family drama, which can be watched by the audience of every age group.” “It is absolutely a youth based show where the protagonists are young. Being young they make mistakes and they try to rectify their mistakes. And their story starts with their mistake. I am also playing the narrator of the story”, added the beautiful lady. Renuka also candidly added that working with Rajshri Productions feels like coming back to her maiden home and it was special for her to work with them. Of course, we can understand your sentiments Renuka and wish to see you more often on screen.
