Confirming the separation to a leading daily was Jennifer's spokesperson who was quoted saying, "Jennifer is currently shooting for Kunal Kohli's film in London and has requested not to be disturbed. Jennifer has also requested for implicit privacy at this stage in her life." Karan's multiple dalliances post marriage is said to have caused much trauma to Jennifer thereby leading her take this drastic step. Sources insist that she had been living separately since the last few months and hoped against hope that things would reconcile for good. Infact, Karan's parents too adored Jennifer and tried their best to bring peace between the two but failed.
