Actor Akshay Sethi is enjoying a ‘free’ run of doing episodics, which according to him are very challenging, given the kind of roles that an actor gets to portray.
Akshay, who was last seen in SAB TV’s Baal Veer, will now feature in one of the stories to be featured around the Valentine’s week in Life OK’s Savdhan India. Produced by Franklinn Pictures, the story will revolve around Akshay and his love life, played by Sheena Bajaj.
However, their love story will hit a roadblock when Sheena’s cousin sister, played by Tanvi Thakkar will fall obsessively for the same man. She will ruin things for them, and will also end up crossing all limits in the climax.
When contacted, Akshay told us, “I am enjoying working in ads. They offer you good money, and there is less work to do. Also, I keep taking good episodic roles whenever I get them. Episodics are a trend these days, and I enjoy playing various characters.”
Tanvi Thakkar who recently shot with Kunal Pant for yet another episodic of Savdhan India, expressed her happiness at shooting for back-to-back stories. “Yes, I play the vamp here. It is a really interesting character, and I love every minute of my shoot.”
We could not get through to Sheena though.
