Roma Bali to play 'mother to the hero' in Sony TV's Dil Ki Baatein Dil Hi Jaane

Sony TV's Dil Ki Baatein Dil Hi Jaane, produced by Guruodev Bhalla and Dhaval Gada will now see the entry of the male protagonist's mother. As we know, seasoned actor Ashish Kaul will play father to the main boy. Now joining the cast to play Ashish's wife will be noted actress Roma Bali. Roma was last seen in Star Plus' Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon - Ek Baar Phir as Niranjan's first wife. As per a reliable source, Roma will play the role of a middle-class housewife who would have a huge greed for money. She would die to wear all kinds of jewellery and will curse her ill fate for being married to a poor driver. The woman will have shades of grey in her character. When contacted, Roma told us, "Yes, I am entering Dil Ki Baatein. I will play the mother of the main boy." Roma is believed to be starting shoot from 20 April.
