The show helmed by talented filmmakers Ramesh and Seema Deo will have a backdrop of cricket. Marathi actress Anuja Sathe would play the central role of the aspiring cricketer and Vishal Gandhi (last seen in Rang Rasiya) will play her husband.
Now, we have learnt that talented Gujrati TV actress Ketki Dave has been approached to play the role of ‘Baa’ of the female lead.
Yes, makers are in talks with Ketki to play the important role of grandmother who would be against her dreams of becoming a cricketer.
When we buzzed Ketki, she shared, “Yes, I have been approached and talks are on the positive way. I loved the storyline, and if things fall into place, I will soon start shooting.”
The shooting is expected to begin from next month. It is slated to air by end of this year.
After Sarita Joshi in Baa Bahu Baby, it would be a delight watching her daughter Ketki playing Baa in her own style. What do you say?
