Popular Bollywood playback singer Shantanu Mukherjee aka Shaan, known for his super hit songs like Chaar Kadam (PK), Behti Hawa Sa Tha Woh (3 Idiots), Chand Sifarish (Fanaa), Jab Se Tere Naina (Saawariya), Subha Ho Gayi Mamu (Munna Bhai M.B.B.S) and many more songs for Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Hritik Roshan, Ranbir Kapoor etc... has recorded a romantic song "Tumhari Chahat" for debut actor Sandesh Gour's debut bollywood movie "Meeradha".
Known face on TV, Sandesh Gour has acted in many popular TV shows like Saraswatichandra, Mann Ki Aawaz Pratigya, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, Mahi Sagar, Badi Doooor Se Aaye Hain. He has also done the international award winning short film "Muafinama" as lead actor.
Now Sandesh is super excited for his upcoming debut movie "Meeradha" as main lead hero, directed by Aashish Sinha and produced by Surya Prakash Jethlia under the banner of SPJ Entertainment.
On the song recorded for the movie, Shaan said, "I am happy because on the occasion of Lata Mangeshkar Ji's birthday, I recorded a romantic song 'Tumhari Chahat'. It was a very big day for the music world and Bollywood, as we celebrated the veteran singer’s birthday. The song "Tumhari Chahat" is full of love, and understanding of one's love. The song is composed with heart touching lyrics and melodious music. Music Director Archit Tak has composed well. People will like this song and my best wishes go to debutant actor Sandesh Gour, all cast and crew of feature film Meeradha.”
When contacted Sandesh told us," My dubbing part is completed for the movie. I am happy to know that the Producer and director liked my work. I am paired with beautiful actresses like Suhani Jethlia and Venus Jain. Rajnikant's movie "Robot" fame actor Mr. Venkat Ramesh is playing the villain role. Editing has been completed by Pravesh Saxena and Vikas Saxena. Bollywood playback singers like Javed Ali, Raja Hasan, Santosh Kumar, Shahzad Ali, Suhani Jethlia, Ekta Kesarwani and now Shaan, have sung songs.”
