Raj Premi to enter Chandragupta Maurya

After the shocking deaths of Mrignayani (Yashashree Masurkar) and Purushdutt (Romanch Mehta) last week, Imagine’s biographical saga Chandragupta Maurya will very soon see a new character which will be played by Raj Premi. The actor started shooting for the show from yesterday. As of now, Chandragupta (Ashish Sharma) and Chanakya (Manish Wadhwa) have managed to exit Pataliputra but they have entered a jungle which is inhabited by Adivasis. According to an insider, the Friday episode will introduce Raj as Ahirya, sardar of the small Adivasi village. When the guru shishya jodi of Chandragupta and Chanakya, enter Ahirya’s forests, they are kidnapped and are allowed to stay in the village only on the condition of winning a fight with Ahirya. Chandragupta wins this fight and he alongwith his guru are accepted in the tribe. When contacted, the actor confirmed his participation in the show. Apart from Raj Premi, actor Rohit Purohit who was last seen Zee’s Sanskaar Laxmi will also enter the show in a new character called Bhadrasaal.
